Volunteer at the Ranch
We would not exist without the volunteers who serve with us.
There are plenty of ways for the whole family to serve at the ranch!
Volunteer Areas

The role of our mentors includes:
Facilitating the relationship between the horse and the child
Fostering an environment where participants feel safe and encouraged
Serving as a positive, Christ-centered role model to our participants
Additional Information
Open to ages 18+
Having previous exposure to horses is preferred
Commitment to at least one shift per week for one semester of programming
We offer multiple session times per year in the spring, fall, and summer months. As a mentor, you are asked to commit to 4 consecutive weeks to work with the same child through programming.

Help with the daily upkeep of the horses and other animals:
Feeding
Grooming
Bathing
Cleaning pastures and stalls
Additional Information
Comfort around horses and/or farm animals required
Open to ALL ages (parent/guardian supervision required for minors)
For volunteers under the age of 14, a parent/guardian is required to volunteer with them

Help to care for and maintain the ranch:
Lawn-mowing
Bush-hogging
Weed-eating
Planting/watering
Maintaining fencing
Cleaning pastures
Additional Information
Open to ALL ages (minors must have parental supervision)
No previous horse experience required
